It can be depressing when you look older than your age. A good fitness routine and increase metabolic rate can help reduce ageing, but what you eat will mostly determine ageing. Forget anti-aging cream and eat good foods. When I mean ageing, I don’t mean your age, but how you look, older or younger compare to your age. Every one desires to look younger and look fresh as day go by.
The great news here is that you can control your aging
process by avoiding some group of foods. Below are the foods that makes you age
fast and you can reduce their consumption
Sugar
The number one food that makes you age fast is sugar. Sugar
increases inflammation and thus reduce your skin beauty and smoothness. Sugar
damages collagen and elastin which is responsible for softness and suppleness
of the skin. Sugar is also known to cause tooth decay
Sugar is present in food we consume when carbohydrate, fat
and protein is broken down in the body. Additional sugar from candies,
industrial sugar, and other junks may result in excess sugar molecule in the
body. Dark chocolate without sugar is safe for consumption. These sugars will
form compound with proteins in the body, particularly the skin collagen. This
will cause damage to the skin collagen and in turn aging effect.
Snacks like cake, doughnuts and brownies are skin enemies.

Energy drinks contain high amount of sugar and they are
acidic. They can damage your teeth. Highly caffeinated drinks also cause
dehydration that in turn destroys your DNA.
Highly Salted Food
Salty food contain high amount of sodium. High amount of
sodium in the body will cause water retention and you may feel bloating. Water
retention in the body makes the skin looks tired and puffy. High salt food also
causes dehydration and dome researches had been done that proves it to destroy
DNA, shortens the telomere and increase aging.
Alcohol
Taking a glass of wine occasionally does not harm your skin,
but excess and frequent alcohol intake makes you age faster. Alcohol increases
the free radicals in the body. It depletes the body of vitamin A and
antioxidant. Antioxidants are important for cell turnover and renewal.
Antioxidants are anti-aging compound. They are present in organic foods. Water
is the best drink, it replenishes your body. Avoid sugary drinks and alcohol if
don’t want to look older on time.
Fast Foods
Fast foods especially the fried ones releases free radicals
into the body and cause oxidative stress which makes you age untimely. Food
joints and restaurants use unhealthy oil in frying and frying. Unhealthy oils
may cause wrinkle formation and heart diseases. Try as much as possible to
reduce fast foods.
Trans fats are bad fat and they increase your risk of
getting skin damage from UV rays from sun. They also cause inflammation.
Margarine contains trans-fat and its consumption should be reduced.
Preservatives use in meat and food processing can create
free radicals and destroy body antioxidant. They can lead to different forms of
cancer like skin and mouth cancer
Most baked foods are rich in sugar and fat which is
dangerous for our health.
Skipping Meals
Eating nothing is more harmful than consumption of sugar. It
ages the body at alarming rate. It can even cause overeating and overweight.
