Blood Type Diet: Check Out Food Meant For Your Blood Group
There are different ways of grouping blood but the most
common one is the ABO grouping. The common 4 are A, AB, B, and O. Most people do not know that each blood type
has food they supposed to eat. Eating right blood type diet helps you stay
healthy. Some food makes you age faster and there are some food that makes you look younger. Have you ever wondered why some
people get diarrhea or constipation with some food and some do not? Eating your

According to a naturopathic physician called Dr. Peter
D’Adamo in the year 1996, an optimal food for someone is related to the
person’s blood type (ABO). In his book,
he said that foods react with blood types chemically.

Type A
They are called cultivator or agrarian, this is
simply because they should eat food and diet rich in plants. They should avoid
red meat. Type A blood group are almost vegetarian. According to Dr. Peter
D’Adamo in his book, type A people have a very sensitive immune system. Type A
food includes beans, legumes, fruits, vegetables and whole grain meals.
Type B
These are the nomads. They are to eat meat mostly.
They can eat plant as well. Not all meat
types are meant for them, they should reduce chicken, wheat, tomatoes, peanut,
sesame seeds and pork intake. Type B food certain meat, low fat dairy, eggs,
and green leafy vegetables.
Type AB
These are the enigma. If you belong to AB group,
you can be termed lucky because you can eat food meant for blood type A and B.
these foods include tofu, beans, dairy, seafood and grain. Meanwhile, type AB
should avoid corn beef, chicken, and kidney beans. Dr. Peter D’Adamo in his
book mentions that type AB tend to have low level of stomach acid. They should
avoid smoking, alcohol and caffeine.
Type O
These are the hunter group. They are to consume food
high in protein. Like meat, fish, vegetables, poultry, and some fruits. People
with type O are tends to having tummy problem says Dr. Peter D’Adamo in his
book.
All the four class of blood type diet are based on healthy
and real diet, which is a step ahead of the western foods that is processed and
full of junks. Therefore, if your choosing of any of these blood type diets
improves your health, it necessary does not mean it had anything to do with
your blood type. It might likely be linked to the health benefits of eating
real and healthy foods than junks and over processed foods.

Blood type diet dictates the specific food type you should
eat. It does not give room for personal taste. For example, if you like chicken
and you belong to Type B, you might not be happy. It requires a lot of

Blood type diet is only for blood group, it does not
correspond to any health and diseased conditions. It fails to address
cholesterol level, heart disease and blood pressure. It is also not friendly
with diabetes treatment plan.

There had been a lot of research carried out on it. One
study revealed that adults that eat type A diet had improved health markers.
This improvement is seen not only in type A, but other blood types also. Another
study in 2013 reviewed it and concluded that there is no evidence to back the
benefits of blood type diet up.
